We are making a fun yarn beard for make believe and dress up.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

STEP 1

Cut Beard Hairs

Open up the skein into its loop. Cut the yarn loop on opposite ends.

STEP 2

Attach Beard Hairs

Fold a yarn strand in half. Place the bunny ear loop on top of your longer piece of ribbon. Place it towards the center of the ribbon. Fold the bunny ear loop around the ribbon so that you have some of the loop below the ribbon. Put the two loose strands through the bunny ear
loop. Pull the yarn so that you create a knot around the ribbon. » Attach approximately 50 beard hairs using this method.

STEP 3

Make the Mustache

On the 8 inch ribbon, attach around 15 strands of yarn using the method from step 2. Starting from the left hand side, count 7 beard hairs pull them aside to make a small gap. Tie one end of the 8 inch piece of ribbon where you made the gap.

Starting from the right hand side, count 7 beard hairs pull them aside to make a small gap. Tie the other end of ribbon where you made the gap.

STEP 4

Clean up Beard

Trim the ends of the knots from the mustache. Scrunch of the beard hairs so it looks like one solid beard. Trim the beard and mustache to the length of your choice.
