Make the first folds.
Fold the paper in half hamburger style.
Fold the paper in half hamburger style once again.
Fold the paper in half hamburger style one last time.
Your paper should now be an eighth of its original size.
Make the cut.
Unfold your paper twice so that it is now half of its original size.
Starting from the middle of the folded edge, cut along the crease that you made towards the center of the paper where the creases intersect.
Stop at the center!
Make the next folds.
Open your paper so that it is completely unfold-ed and then fold it in half again, this time hotdog style.
Pinch the folded edges on either side of the cut that you made and bring them towards each other so that they meet in the center of the opening.
Make the final folds.
Your folded paper should now consist of four “flaps”
Wrap any two adjacent flaps around the other two to complete your folded sketchbook. Decorate!
